Host families

Englishour host families are constantly monitored for quality and service . They are inspected by the school and the feedback of each student who stays with them is reviewed. We offer three levels of host family service.

• Bed and Breakfast

This option is perfect for students who wish to spend their evenings in Dublin trying out the great variety of restaurants and eateries which are on offer. (see where to eat for some recommendations)

• Half Board

Ideal for the student who wishes to find their own lunch during the week while they are attending classes. This option includes breakfast and an evening meal during the week, and breakfast, lunch and dinner at the weekend.

• Full Board

This option includes a pack lunch to take with you to school every day as well as breakfast and dinner. At the weekend the student will have breakfast, lunch and dinner.

All students may book a single room, however students wishing to book an en-suite room should be warned to book well in advance.

Englishour is situated in the heart of the city, and as such is near to all modes of transport; with a Luas stop just outside the door, a few minutes walk to any cross-town busstop, and 10 minutes walk to Connolly station. This ensures that commuting times to and from school to your host family are kept to a minimum.
